How do we learn to communicate?
Most of us assume communication comes naturally. We speak, write emails, attend meetings, give feedback, and navigate social situations every day. Yet if we’re honest, communication failures happen all around us.
A misunderstood email. A comment that lands the wrong way. A conversation where both sides walk away with completely different interpretations.
Now enter AI.
For the first time, we have tools that can rewrite our messages, adjust our tone, detect potential misunderstandings, and even suggest more empathetic responses. But what does that mean for our own communication skills?
Is AI helping us become better communicators?
Or are we slowly outsourcing skills that were once uniquely human?
During my session at the BREWT Conference, I’ll explore how communication works, why so many of us struggle with it, and how AI is changing the way we connect with one another. Through personal experiences, real-world observations, and a few surprising examples, we’ll look at both the opportunities and the risks of letting technology become part of our conversations.
This won’t be a talk about prompts, tools, or productivity hacks.
It’s a talk about people.
